Meet the Team
Esther Adams
DVM, Sonographer
Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Adams went to UC Davis for veterinary school. After completing a private practice rotating internship in Santa Rosa, CA, she moved to San Jose where she worked as an ER clinician at a specialty and emergency hospital.
Dr. Adams moved to San Diego in 2016, where she trained and worked as a DVM sonographer before creating Companion Insights.
Dr. Adams is thrilled to continue providing outstanding services to San Diego clinics by leveraging the strong partnership she and Dr. Ruby have developed.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring San Diego with her husband, sons, and dog.
Jennifer Ruby Clark
DVM, DACVR
Dr. Ruby is from the Hudson Valley, NY and pursued her veterinary education at Cornell University. She completed a rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Red Bank, NJ, followed by a diagnostic imaging internship at the Veterinary Imaging Center of San Diego. In 2019, Dr. Ruby completed her residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of Georgia, after which she became board certified in Diagnostic Imaging.
Dr. Ruby is excited to be working with Dr. Adams in providing high quality ultrasounds to the community. Dr. Ruby strives to provide thorough, practical and relevant reports, in order to achieve the best patient care and outcomes.
In her spare time, Dr. Ruby enjoys baking, hiking and reading, as well as spending time with her husband, Max, and fur babies Pip, Fennec, Fergie and Muffin.
